iOS 18.2 has been launched with many features. This update has been released for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series only.

New features on the action button:

iPhone 15Pro, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro now have a new button instead of the mute button. By default, it can be used to turn on or off silent mode, open the camera app and for many things. After updating to iOS 18.2, new features can be added to this action button. With this, you can open the remote interface to navigate to Apple TV or use Shazam to identify a song. After the new update, you will now get the facility to change the default button on the lock screen.

New look of home screen: Whatever photo you put on the iPhone screen, it gets covered due to the icon. But after the iOS 18.2 update, the icon can be moved up-down or right-left. Similarly, the icon can also be made smaller or bigger.

Changes in Control Center: The control icon can be made smaller or bigger and up or down as per the need, like you can bring the torch placed below in the Control Center to the top. Similarly, the calendar app has become more interactive. Turn off loop video: To stop a video, go to Settings and go to Photo, scroll down and turn off the option in Loop Video.

Fun Image:

Image Playground has three different styles With animation, illustration and sketch, you will get the facility to create a few seconds of fun photos. For this, you just have to type and tell what kind of photo you want. This will be a standalone app. However, the sketch feature of Image Playground has not come yet.

Zenmoji:

This is an Apple Intelligence feature, which will allow creating custom emojis based on text. For this, first make sure that the official language of your device is set to US English, because Apple Intelligence supports only selected languages. After changing the language of the device, update to the latest iOS 18.2. After this go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri and tap on Get Apple Intelligence. Now to use Zenmoji, open Messages and start a new or existing chat. Tap on the smiley face icon on your keyboard. Write the description of the emoji you want to create, such as a monkey pouring water on the head. Tap on ‘Create New Emoji’. In this way you can create new emojis for yourself.

Image Band:

You can use this feature in your Notes app, such as on iPad, create a rough sketch using Apple Pencil and transform it into a great form with the help of Image Band.

ChatGPT:

Apple has also brought the ChatGPT tool for its users. Now you will also get the option to use ChatGPT along with Siri. Apart from this, the writing tool of ChatGPT has also been integrated.

Visual Intelligence:

iOS 18.2 Visual Intelligence feature will also be available with the rollout. You can use visual intelligence with camera control to know about nearby places and things. To do things like viewing details about a restaurant or business, translating text, creating a summary or reading aloud, just click and hold the camera control.

Writing Tool:

With the new update, you will now also get some new intelligent writing tools, which can change not only your writing style but also the tone or content. For example, this new tool can turn an email you’re writing into a poem.
